Emmerdale confirms unexpected Tom King twist as Coronation Street’s Kit reels in 25 new soap spoilers
The soaps line up an emotional week, with a long-awaited wedding and a major comeback just a few of the treats on the cards.
Hollyoaks sees popular couple Ethan Williams and Sienna Blake walk down the aisle to tie the knot but, with big secrets set to explode, will the wedding day end in tragedy?
Emmerdale, meanwhile, sees evil Tom King take drastic action to cover his tracks while Coronation Street’s Kit unearths something horrific about Joel Deering.
EastEnders sees David Wicks discover that former flame Cindy Beale is alive and well while Neighbours deals with the fallout of Melanie Pearson’s date, who is the last person she – and we – expected!

EastEnders
1. David Wicks returns to Walford and Cindy is absolutely stunned to come face-to-face with him after all these years. David, meanwhile, gets the shock of his life when he spots Cindy, who is very much alive and well.
2. Denise is upset when she learns the news about Pastor Clayton and, during a heart-to-heart with Yolande, who talks about the impotence of honesty and truth, she resolves to come clean about the club crush.
3. Ian tells Lauren and Peter that he might get married again to Cindy but admits that he messed up the proposal.
4. Tommy attempts to steal from the café but Kathy catches him in the act and thus visits Kat, telling her what Tommy did. Kat tries to talk to Tommy but it doesn’t go well.
5. Junior starts to talk to George about his mystery woman, as his feelings for Cindy weigh heavy. George is left intrigued as Junior admits that a fling has developed into something much more serious.
6. It’s Jay’s 30th birthday, and he’s showing Kat and Phil a video message from Lola, but Tommy ruins the mood.
Coronation Street
7. Carla struggles ahead of her day in court, taking her frustrations out on Betsy, who lets slip about the factory owner’s troubles with the law to an important client. Tom, the father of the lad she knocked over, rails at her in court and, later, follows her back to the factory. Will Carla escape?
8. Gail arrives back on the Street, as does Jesse – Eileen’s ex-boyfriend. Gail reveals to Eileen that she and Jesse met a few years ago in Thailand. The Platts, much like everyone else, are baffled by Jesse’s arrival.
9. With Summer, Bernie and Gemma present, Billy reads out Paul’s wish list in which he leaves his VHS tapes to Bernie, a hoodie to Gemma, a special mug to Summer, all his love to Billy and a special message for Kit.
10. Kit is left horrified when downloading the files from Joel’s laptop and swiftly calls Lisa. Just what has he uncovered?
11. Daniel visits Bethany but Sarah makes it clear that he’s not welcome.
Emmerdale
12. Tom asks Isaac for his tablet back and, later, he sneaks into Butlers to get it himself. Belle, meanwhile, asks Moira if anything has jogged her memory, referring to an ambiguous voicemail the farmer left her previously. Moira, however, doesn’t recall anything. Tom confronts Belle and brags about his assured victory in court, leaving her full of dread.
13. Arthur and Laurel’s relationship is more strained than ever, prompting Nicola to step in. Nicola, as fans know, has a special relationship with Arthur, who bravely came out to her two years ago. Nicola’s efforts prove successful, with Arthur and Laurel on the cusp of reconciliation. But will Laurel put her foot in it once more?
14. Billy’s behaviour continues to raise eye brows and, soon, we see him hiding a pair of boxing gloves from Dawn. Mack grows suspicious of his newfound wealth, plus an injury that he’s nursing. Later, when Billy arrives on his doorstep bloodied and bruised, Mack is horrified. Billy confirms he was injured during an unlicensed boxing match, revealing he’s taking part to support his family. John soon arrives to stitch him up
15. Kim is furious to see the state of the living room after Jimmy and Will enjoy some drinks together. Later, she gets dressed to the nines, ready for a dinner date with her financial advisor. Will is left seething, though Kim is happy to have rattled him. Soon, however, she starts to have second thoughts, telling Lydia that she doesn’t feel as good about making Will jealous as she’d have hoped.
16. Lydia makes it her mission to make Amelia see that Tom is not to be trusted. Amelia, however, tries to convince Lydia that it’s she who is in the wrong.
Hollyoaks
17. It’s Ethan and Sienna’s big day and the bride and groom are excited about the prospect of spending the rest of their life together. Sienna preps her vows and asks Jez to walk her down the aisle. As the wedding gets underway, Ethan breaks down, overcome with emotion to be marrying his one true love.
18. Vicky interrupts the celebrations and chaos ensues. Flashbacks to Christmas reveal an emotional showdown between Ethan and Sienna. But will the popular couple succeed in getting their happy-ever-after?
19. John Paul catches the bouquet made by Jez.
20. Peri and Abe arrive back in the village to discover the fallout from the wedding.
Neighbours
21. Melanie is delighted when her date goes swimmingly. Little does she know, however, that the man she’s been messaging is none other than Vic Stone, the estranged dad of Byron and Nicolette – and ex-husband of Jane! Melanie is devastated when she puts two and two together, with she and Vic both agreeing to part ways. Though it’s quite clear that they’re having second thoughts.
22. Vic tells Byron that abandoning them when he found out he was in remission was a mistake and he wants to make things right. Byron, however, tells Vic that he will never be forgiven for this.
23. Paul informs Susan that he intends to take a step back from Terese, asking for her assistance in making sure Terese is okay. Karl is wary of Paul’s request, believing that he has an agenda, but Susan is adamant that she will be there for Terese in her time of need.
24. The distance remains between Andrew and Wendy. After a few days to contemplate Wendy’s frustrations, Andrew reaches out – but Wendy is now riled up by how long it’s taken for him to come to her. Will the once-happy couple ever get back on the same page?
