Belle’s Terrifying Face-Off with Tom King
Tom King has vanished from the village after Belle exposed his abusive behaviour. However, he has been secretly meeting with his new girlfriend, Amelia Spencer. Next week, Belle gets a call from her landlord, Kim Tate, saying that Tom has left the house in a total mess.
As she goes to the house with Lydia Dingle, Belle spots a screw on the floor and realises it’s from a tiny hidden camera. She is horrified to discover that Tom has been secretly recording her. Meanwhile, Lydia insists that she report Tom to the police. But Belle is too scared to relive her trauma.
Later, after considering it, Belle urges Lydia her experience of reporting her rapist, Craig Reed. Lydia emotionally shares and hopes it pushes Belle to go to the police. As the week continues, Amelia plans a private meeting with Belle to discuss Tom. However, while Belle waits for Amelia all alone, Tom shows up.
