BIG UPDATE: ITV Emmerdale fans rumble devastating exit storyline for Moira Dingle as diagnosis ‘revealed’
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve worked out a tragic exit storyline for Moira Dingle after she suffered a brain seizure during yesterday evening’s episode
Emmerdale fans have worked out a heartbreaking exit storyline for Moira Dingle.
Natalie J Robb has played fan favourite Moira for several years but fans are fearful her latest storyline could end in a heartbreaking exit. Last night, Moira was seen suffering a seizure in the barn as she collapsed – but we are yet to find out what is wrong with her.
Tonight, she panicked as she realised she was ill – but didn’t know what was wrong and tried to push the fears out of her mind. Fans are fearful Moira has a brain tumour and it could lead to a sad exit from the show.
“I think Moira will get trapped in the fire then it’ll be confirmed she has a brain tumour whilst she’s in hospital. We know Nate is leaving – so he’ll probably perish in the fire,” one wrote, whilst a second added: “I said right from the start with Moira’s odd behaviour that I thought that she’d got a brain tumour and I said it again last week too! #Emmerdale.”
Speaking about the storyline, actress Natalie shared: “When I was told Moira would be suffering from a serious health condition, I knew I wanted to play my part in helping to raise awareness. A soap can play such a big role in shining a light on many different illnesses, as it has so brilliantly this year with Chas’ cancer diagnosis.
“As a soap actress, you are very much in the lap of the gods when it comes to your character and what happens to them. But I think it is important we do cover serious illnesses that hopefully will help people know they aren’t alone. I know I would be petrified if I started to have seizures and had no idea why. It’s a challenging role and a big responsibility.”
Natalie explained that she has been in touch with an expert so she can portray the storyline in the most accurate way.
“I have learnt a lot about different seizures you can have and I have been working closely with an expert. He has been giving me lots of wonderful advice on how to show little visual signs, even subtle things when you do have a seizure,” she shared.
“It’s been important to me to show how much it affects a person. It takes everything out of your body and the confusion afterwards is very hard. My heart goes out to people who have gone or who are going through this.”
