Emmerdale set for barn explosion as residents trapped inside and lives at risk

Emmerdale is set to air devastating scenes as several villagers end up trapped inside a barn when it explodes – risking being killed off.

Emmerdale has released a devastating new promo video with several villagers’ lives at risk.

Airing during ITV’s This Morning, the new trailer sees lives “hanging in the balance” as a devastating fire rages in the barn.

Fans can expect a week of intense drama in September, with “unravelling secrets” and “confusion leading to disaster”.

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is at the centre of the drama. She hasn’t been acting herself recently, but when her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) questions her behaviour her reaction ignites a devastating chain of events.

Nate (Jurell Carter) and Tracy’s (Amy Walsh) relationship seems to be back on track, but will it all come crashing down before their fresh new start can even begin?

Tension is also growing between Tom and Belle King as his abuse worsens, with Tom “tightening his emotional grip” on his ex-wife. But will Belle be able to access the help she so desperately needs?

It comes after tense scenes that saw Moira collapse in the barn and start convulsing after suffering blackouts.

She’s been having mood swings and seemingly flirting with Nate on the farm, reminding Cain of their past affair. Now fans are sure Moira’s battling epilepsy after witnessing her having a seizure.

Viewers worried: “Poor Moira looks like she’s got something serious going off health-wise.” As another said: “It could be a brain tumour. Hope it’s nothing serious.” A third echoed: “Anyone else thinking Moira may have a brain tumour and that’s changing her behaviour?”

Others reckon epilepsy is a more likely candidate, with one writing: “Are they going to have Moira with epilepsy now? They’ve done breast cancer in quick succession. So I wouldn’t put it past them.”

Another wondered: “Can you develop epilepsy later in life?”
